Overall Responsibilities
Reporting to the Stock Controller
Every employee has a responsibility to ensure all areas and workspaces are kept clean, tidy, and organised to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
To maintain clean and organised warehouse spaces.
To maintain accurate stock records within the company business systems.
General Housekeeping of the warehouse areas
Complete any training that the company deems necessary.
To carry out tasks in a safe and competent manner.
To carry out any other reasonable task as requested by the management.
To comply to the BSA Mouldings Ltd Health & Safety Policies.
To comply to the BSA Mouldings Ltd Quality Management System.
Principal Responsibilities
Ensure daily forklift checks are carried out prior to driving.
To receive load / unload vehicles in a safe and timely manner.
To ensure all loads are picked correctly and any discrepancies reported.
To ensure all receipts are checked against delivery paperwork and any discrepancies reported.
To ensure parts are received correctly on the company business systems.
To ensure all stock is labelled correctly with Product No. / Batch No / Qty.
To ensure that all stock located in the correct areas.
To ensure all documentation is filed correctly, both physically and electronically.
To ensure all stock and finished goods are stored in a secure manner.
To assist cycle counting to achieve and maintain stock accuracy target of 98%.
To ensure outside areas of the site are kept organised and safe.
To liaise with Production to ensure required materials are moved into Production.
To pick jobs ahead of production and advise of any potential stock outs.
Ensure warehouse is manned sufficiently to allow receipt and despatch of goods in a timely manner.
To cover for the Stock Controller in their absence

Tues-Thurs 06:00-18:00

ApplyFactory Operator
Factory operators are responsible to the Shift Setter/Supervisor.
The principle function of the job is to maintain production from their assigned machine/s, ensuring that the Quality Standard is met. Packing the moulded parts as instructed. Also to work on assembly lines within our production areas.
The factory operators are responsible for ensuring his working area is clean, safe & tidy.
Pack off product from assigned machine/s according to the Product
Specification, performing secondary operations, e.g. trimming, as directed.Maintain levels of raw material in bin, and master batch in hopper.
Continuously check the quality of moulded parts against the First-Off standard at the machine.
Keep the machine, and the surrounding area, clean, tidy and safe. Sweep up any spilt material pellets immediately, do not leave any objects on the machine bed.
Follow instructions regarding packing off mouldings from machine – ensuring that you have fully understood the instructions
Packing spec – ensure that you have the correct packaging material at the machine, following the directions on the Product Spec for quantities

DAY SHIFT – MONDAY – 07.30 hrs – 18.00 hrs
TUESDAY – THURSDAY 06.00 hrs – 18.00 hrs
NIGHT SHIFT – MONDAY – THURSDAY 1800 hrs – 0600 hrs
This shift pattern rotates each week
Hourly rate currently is £12 per hour
Hours worked over 40 hrs is time and a 1/3
Overtime rates
Saturday time and a half
Sunday double time
Attendance bonus £10 per week
Night shift bonus £20
